Silca Ultimate Sealant with Injectable Fiberfoam, 1000mL

The original sealant formulation, released 2.5 years ago, was designed primarily for effective puncture sealing by maximising the surface area of the liquid latex for enhanced performance. Pro racers valued its convenience, as they frequently changed tires based on race conditions and could easily pour in fresh sealant without needing to inject it through the valve. However, we heard two main concerns from more casual cyclists it dried out quickly when not in use, and its composition of the longer strand carbon fibre made injection difficult and problematic, leading to a potentially messy installation if not handled carefully.

Lastly, the old Natural Latex formula needed a two-step process to stay liquid longer. That has been eliminated with our new blend of natural and synthetic latex. SILCA Ultimate Sealant Is a one-step process lasting +6 months and still, above all else, sealing punctures on race day.
