The Uccello Elite Climber 35 is the newest iteration of the Uccello Elite Climber Series of wheels. Light, Aerodynamic and Fast it takes the best features of the previous generation to make the ultimate modern road wheel set. There’s simply nothing more agile than the Elite Climber 35.

This special edition wheel set is produced with Extralite SPD 3+ polished alloy hubs. These special edition hubs feature a Classic Silver Polished finish with Laser Etched graphics.

As the most agile wheel in the line, the Elite Climber 35 is the go-to for just about any terrain or surface conditions. From the Victorian High Country to the Club Criterium, the Elite Climber 35 has proven time and time again that there are no limits on its capabilities. The new Elite Climber 35 shares many similarities with the previous Elite Climber Disc such as the Extralite Hubs; Titanium and Stainless Steel Spokes, while receiving a new rim laminate update that minimises weight to 1070 grams in the wider stronger profile.

The Extralite hub set is hand made in Italy to the finest tolerances. Here at Uccello Cycles we have settled on the corrosion resistant Hyper Ceramic bearing option as standard equipment. The Silicon Nitride bearings are housed in super hardened 440c Stainless Steel races. These bearings are smooth, fast rolling  and very wear resistant. Perfect for a long season of training and racing.

The new, wider aerodynamic rim profiles are hand layered up from Toray T800 carbon fibre and are incredibly light and stiff.  The 35mm deep front rim has optimal aerodynamic performance and remains stable in the worst crosswind conditions. The 35mm deep rear rim has a 2.5mm offset to ensure balanced spoke tensions on either side of the wheel.

Light and aerodynamic these wheels are incredibly fast over all terrains.

The Uccello Elite Climber 35 is a clear choice for the rider seeking an ultra lightweight option for hilly terrain. With an internal width of 21mm, the confidence in handling that comes with the rim and tire volume makes it a game-changer on technical descents and rough pavement. The Elite Climber 35 has been optimised for road tubeless performance and features a hooked bead design that allows for either clincher or tubeless tyres.
